Natalie Caney, Women's Lacrosse and Women's Soccer

Natalie Caney is a sophomore at MCLA. She is a duel sport athlete, playing soccer in the fall and lacrosse in the spring. Whatever sport she is playing, Caney has become the player to watch because of her intensity and passion.

Caney made a statement her freshman year as a forward in soccer. She played in 18 games, including all 7 conference games. She ended the season with a total of 17 goals, making her tied for 2nd for the goals in season record. Caney also was awarded rookie of the week five times, was ECAC co-offensive player of the week, All MASCAC first team, and named MASCAC rookie of the year.

Sophomore year, Caney played in 17 games including every conference game. She ended her season with two goals and was named to the All MASCAC second seam.

Caney participated on the Lacrosse club team her freshman year and expected to have a leading role in 2015, their first as a varsity program.

Caney is excited that Lacrosse is now a varsity sport at MCLA and looks forward to work hard to help her team have a great first season.
