MCLA Golf Classic set for today is on as scheduled
Pittsfield, MA- The MCLA Athletics Golf Classic is on as scheduled this afternoon despite the threat of rain. The scramble tournament will have a shotgun start at 1pm.
The event is the major fundraiser for the athletics program and is held on an annual basis. This years event features a full field as the tournament will honor Dick Lamb and Holly Taylor at the banquet following play.
This years event is on track to surpass $30,000 which directly impacts student athletes at MCLA. Previous golf classics have alleviated costs for spring trips, equipment purchases, uniforms, and much more.
Here is the schedule of events for this afternoon:
11:30am- Registration is open, lunch is available in the BHCC clubhouse but is not included in this years event
1:00pm- Shotgun start to the scramble format
5:45pm- Dinner/Banquet honoring Dick Lamb and Holly Taylor
