Bio

Compiling a 21-3 record, the 1960-61 men’s basketball team, under the leadership of Head Coach George Jarck, captured the New England State College Conference Championship. After defeating Plymouth State College, the team finished first in the northern division, earning the right to take on the southern division championships, Worcester State College. The title game was held in North Adams and was dubbed “one of the best games ever witnessed in North Adams.” The team went on to dominate Worcester State 88-70 to take home the New England State College Conference title.
