Men's Golf opens season at Cobleskill Invitational
Cobleskill, NY- The MCLA Trailblazers' Men's Golf program opened their 2014 season this afternoon competing in the Cobleskill Invitational. The Trailblazers finished seventh in the event which was won by the host team.
The match took place at the par 70 Cobleskill Golf and Country Club. First year Nick Young paced MCLA with an 85 which was good for 17th place in the event. Mitch Mullett was next shooting a 92.
Cobleskill took home top honors with a score of 304. Morrisville State was next at 318 while Keuka took third at 327. Rounding out the field was SUNY Canton, Cobleskill B, Johnson State, and MCLA.
The Trailblazers will tee it up again on Thursday when they host the MCLA Inviational at Berkshire Hills Country Club in Pittsfield.
