Men's golf wraps up play at Elms Invitational
East Longmeadow, MA- The MCLA Men's Golf team wrapped up play this afternoon in the Elms Invitational hosted by Elmcrest Country Club in East Longmeadow. The Trailblazers finished in 18th place. Occidental won the team competition.
The Trailblazers were paced once again by Nick Young who carded a second day score of 79. His two day total was good enough for a 42nd place finish. Cooper Gavin was next for MCLA, while Sam Slocombe and James Clark each carded better final rounds for the Trailblazers besting their Saturday scores by a wide margin.
Occidental's Colton Bares and Will Mansfield tied for the Individual Medalist with a score of 146.
MCLA will be back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Westfield State for the Owl Invitational.
