Lawrence named NAC Co-Rookie of the Week in Men's Golf

North Adams, MA- MCLA freshman golfer Matt Lawrence has been tabbed the NAC Co-Rookie of the week as announced by the conference this afternoon.  Lawrence played his first collegiate match at the Johnson State Invitational.

Lawrence, a local product from Drury High School, shared the honors with Castleton's Jacob Erwin.

Lawrence placed 7th in the Johnson State Invite after shooting an 81 in the event.  His finish was the best on the Trailblazer roster and bodes well for the remainder of the season.

Zach Temple of Castleton took home top honors as he was tabbed athlete of the week after claiming individual title at Johnson.
