Pittsfield, MA- The Rhode Island College men's golf team took home the team championship at the MCLA Invitational held at Berkshire Hills Country Club in Pittsfield, MA this afternoon after placing four golfers at 77 or better.  The Anchormen shot a solid score of 300 to win by seven shots over Westfield State.  Roger Williams was one shot back with a 308.

Austin Cilley of Rhode Island College took home individual honors with a two under par score of 70 on the 6,500 yard Berkshire Hills layout.  Cilley's round included four birdies and an eagle to take medalist.  Cilley shot even par 35 on the front nine before closing with a two under 35 on the back nine.  The back nine was highlighted by an eagle on the par five fifteenth hole.

Chad Alibozek of Salem State shot an even par 72 to finish in second place.  Alibozek turned in 33 but faltered with a 39 on the back. 

Rounding out the top four were Josh Unkrich (RWU) with 73, and Mateo Godek (Westfield) with 75.  There was a five way tie at 76, including MCLA's Matt Lawrence.

MCLA will compete next weekend in the MCLA invitational.
