Golf finishes up play in Elms Invitational this afternoon
South Hadley, MA- The MCLA golf program wrapped up day two of the Elms Invitational this afternoon. The Trailblazers finished 15th in the event which was won by Husson University. Husson's Gavin Dugas took home individual honors after shooting a 36 hole total of 143.
MCLA was paced by Bobby New who finished in 32nd place. He followed up his first round 84 with a closing 82. Reese Dwyer, who also shot 84 in the opening round, shot an 86 today to finish in 45th.
Hunter Woodbury carded a second day score of 92 for his best finish of the season. Gabe Evans was the fourth Trailblazer to compete in the event.
The event was played at the Ledges Golf Club over the par 72 layout.
MCLA is back in action next Sunday when they open up play in the NAC Championships.
