Bronx, NY- The MCLA Men's Soccer team rallied from a 2-0 deficit, but surrendered another goal in the second half as they fell to the College of Mount Saint Vincent 3-2 this afternoon in a non league soccer match.  The Trailblazers fall to 6-6-1 overall while CMSV improves to 6-8 on the season.

In the opening half, Dennis Reyes collected his team leading 17th and 18th goals of the season to push CMSV out to an early 2-0 advantage after just fifteen minutes of action.  MCLA would respond in the 30th minute when Anthony Basile notched his sixth goal of the season nailing home a Dylan Pereira pass making it 2-1 in favor of the hosts.

MCLA would trail at the half, but then in the 50th minute CMSV was whistled for a foul in the box resulting in a penalty kick.  Kwadwo Kusi was selected and he delivered as the Trailblazers tied the match at 2-2.

After some back and forth action, CMSV would score the game winner in the 70th minute.  Diego Hernandez knocked home a cross from Pablo Tellez giving the hosts a 3-2 advantage.  The marker was Hernandez' second of the season.

MCLA could only muster two shots down the stretch and both went high giving the home side the victory.

Kamron Anderson got his first start of 2014 in net for MCLA and made three saves in the loss.  MCLA outshot the Dolphins 19-11 while holding a slim 3-2 edge in corners.

The Trailblazers are back in action on Saturday when they host Westfield State at 1:30pm at Shewcraft Field.
