Pereira selected to play in Sunday's NEISL senior all star game
North Adams, MA- MCLA senior forward Dylan Pereira has been selected to play in the New England Intercollegiate Soccer League senior all star game. The selection marks the first Trailblazer to play in the game in 10 years.
Pereira, who was an All MASCAC selection, scored a pair of goals and dished out an assist for MCLA this season. He was a four time all conference player for head coach Adam Hildabrand and served as a leader on the team. He led MCLA to an 8-8-1 mark on the season and a berth in the MASCAC playoffs. The Trailblazers fell to Bridgewater State in the quarterfinal round.
The match will be played on Sunday at 1pm and is hosted by Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. Pereira was the only player selected from the MASCAC to play in the contest.
