Men's Soccer blanked 4-0 at Mass. Maritime

Buzzards Bay, MA- Four different Buccaneers scored tonight as the Massachusetts Maritime men's soccer team defeated the visiting MCLA Trailblazers 4-0 at Clean Harbors Stadium in MASCAC action.  With the win, MMA improves to 2-6-1 overall and is 1-2 in the league.

MCLA is still winless at 0-8-1 overall and is 0-3 in the conference.

The Bucs got on the board in the 41st minute when Adam Crawford scored to give the hosts the lead.  Justin Burns and Jake Pforr were credited with the assist as MMA took the lead into halftime.

The hosts would own the second half and pull away from MCLA.  Andrew Wayrynen tallied in the 63rd minute and when Stephen Froio converted just five minutes later, it was 3-0 in favor of MMA.

Jacob Crawford would add another marker in the 83rd minute to round out the scoring.

Mass. Maritime owned a commanding 30-9 edge in shots on the evening.

Connor Murphy earned the win in goal for MMA stopping three shots.

Sean Bradshaw absorbed the loss for the Trailblazers, but did collect ten saves in defeat.

MCLA is back in action on Tuesday night when they host Southern Vermont at 6pm.
