Men's Tennis Earns First NAC Victory 9-0

The MCLA men's tennis team earned NAC victory number one on the season with a 9-0 whitewashing of Johnson State today at the Joe Zavattaro complex. The MCLA received good performances across the board in the victory. 

Michael Rooney won at number four singles 6-0, 6-1 as MCLA's top four singles players dropped only nine games all afternoon.

Aaron Goldsmith, Robert Wabshinak and Taylor Krowitz were the other victors in those matches. 

Krowitz and Rooney also won thier doubles match by an 8-0 score. 

MCLA has won two in a row and moves their record to 1-3 in league play and 2-4 overall. 

The Trailblazers will host a match for the third consecutive day tomorrow as they take on Green Mountain College at 3:30pm. It will be the second time in ten days these teams have clashed. Green Mountain won the previous match by a score of 7-2.
