Woodbury, Jones pace MCLA Men's Cross Country at Keene State

Keene, NH- The MCLA Men's Cross Country team ran this afternoon in the Keene State Invitational.  The Trailblazers finished seventh in the meet out of 9 teams.

MCLA was paced by Avery Woodbury and Jeremiah Jones, who were separated by just six seconds.  Woodbury ran the 8k race in 29:04 which placed him 33rd overall.  Jones crossed the line at 29:10 and was 34th.

Christopher Gamble finished in 39th place with a time of 30:59 while Owen Fitzgerald and Corey Powers rounded out MCLA's scoring in 47th and 51st respectively.

Brandeis claimed the team championship as they placed all five runners in the top ten.   The Judges' Ryan Stender took home individual honors with a time of 25:46.

The Trailblazers are back in action next weekend at the James Early Invitational hosted by Westfield State University.
