Meczywor caps career with spot on All Regional Team
North Adams, MA- MCLA senior captain Amanda Meczywor was named to the All Regional team announced this afternoon at the conclusion of the Williams College regional. Meczywor was the only Trailblazer selected to the team.
Meczywor and the Trailblazers fell to host Williams College on Friday before being eliminated by Western New England Saturday afternoon. Meczywor was reached base safely in both games and drove in the lone run in the loss to the Golden Bears.
Meczywor has had a busy week with awards as she collected MCLA's Sue Getchell award Tuesday. The award honors the top female scholar athlete within the athletics department. She has also been named an MCLA scholar for graduation and was the recipient of the top grade point average within the athletics department.

WPI won the regional as they defeated Williams 4-0 this afternoon. They will advance to the super regionals and battle reigning national champion Tufts next weekend.
