Women's Basketball falls to NESCAC foe Trinity (CT) 71-41

Hartford, CT- The Trinity (CT) women's basketball team held MCLA to just 33% shooting and forced 23 turnovers as the Bantams defeated the Trailblazers 71-41 in non league action.  The Bantams are now 14-4 on the season.  MCLA drops to 4-11.

The hosts took control early as they never trailed.  They would own a double digit 22-12 lead after one quarter before extending out to a 40-22 edge at halftime.

Trinity would leave no doubt as they cruised in the second half as they lead grew to as many as 32 points before settling on the final score.

Trinity had the lone player in double figures as Erin Cunningham scored 14 points in 20 minutes of action.  She was 5-6 from the floor.  No other Bantam scored in double figures, however eleven others broke into the scoring column.

The Bantam defense held MCLA under 12 points in each quarter as their defense suffocated the Trailblazers.
