Cutler, Granito lead Trailblazers as they overwhelm Dean 20-2 in Women's Lacrosse

Franklin, MA- Mackenzie Cutler and Kim Granito each scored five goals as they led the MCLA Trailblazer women's lacrosse program to a convincing 20-2 victory over Dean College this afternoon.  The win evens the Trailblazer record at 3-3 while Dean is now 0-6.

MCLA controlled this one from the start as they scored the games first 11 goals.  Cutler had all five of her goals during this stretch to help the Trailblazers out to a big lead.  Dean would add a solo marker with seven minutes left, but Granito's tally made it 12-1 at the break.

The Trailblazers would extend the lead to 19-1 in the second half and cruise from there for the win.

Cutler scored her 5 goals on 13 shots and added 6 groundballs and 5 draw controls.  Granito scored her five goals on just 8 shots.  She added 7 draw controls in the win.  Aleah Sangiovanni, Chanielle Enomoto, Natalie Caney, and Brianna Morris all scored a pair of goals.

Julia Coughlin earned the win in goal stopping two shots for her first collegiate win.

The Trailblazers are off until Saturday when they travel to Bridgewater State to open conference play.
