Women's Soccer releases 2016 schedule featuring nine home dates
North Adams, MA- The MCLA Women's Soccer program is set to tackle a 16 game schedule which will include nine home dates in 2016. The Trailblazers will open on September 3rd with a home match against Rivier at Shewcraft Field.
MCLA will then hit the road for three straight matches beginning with a match at St. Joseph (CT) on the 6th. Road tilts with Skidmore (9/9) and Castleton (9/14) follow before the Trialblazers begin conference play.
On September 17th, the Trailblazers begin a stretch where five out of six matches will be at Shewcraft Field. MCLA will host Bridgewater State in the MASCAC opener (9/17) and then SUNY Poly in a non league match on the 21st. A road match in conference play at Salem State on teh 24th looms, before MCLA is back home with dates against SVC (9/27), Westfield State (10/1), and Western New England (10/5) to close out the homestand.
MASCAC play continues on October 8th at Worcester State and then MCLA heads to Nichols on the 12th for a non league matchup with the Bison.
Another three game homestand begins with Mass. Maritime (10/15) as part of reunion weekend, while a midweek date with Albany College of Pharmacy and a conference match with Fitchburg close out the home schedule.
The Trailblazers will be on the road at Framingham in the season finale set for October 29th. Postseason play will begin the following week with the MASCAC tournament.
