Tennis rolls past Green Mountain in NAC action
Poultney, VT- The visiting MCLA women's tennis program rolled past host Green Mountain College 8-1 this afternoon in NAC action. With the win, the Trailblazers improve to 3-2 on the season and are 2-0 in the league.
MCLA breezed past the doubles matches as Briana Higgins and Sarah Hachadourian along with Anna Despart and Sam Gawron rolled to 8-0 wins. Mariza Sfakianaki and Emily Deaso also won handily as they earned an 8-3 win.
The Trailblazers continued to roll in singles as they took five of the six matches. All the Trailblazers points were in straight sets and in their five match wins, they dropped just a single game to GMC.
MCLA is back in action on Tuesday when they host Castleton University in a key NAC match beginning at 3:30pm
