Volleyball sweeps tri match by identical 3-0 scores over Bay Path and Curry
North Adams, MA- The MCLA Volleyball team swept a pair of matches this afternoon as they handled Bay Path and Curry by identical 3-0 scores this afternoon in the Amsler Campus Center Gym. With the wins, the Trailblazers improve to 5-6 on the season.
In the opener against Bay Path, Allison Clark collected 15 kills to lead the offense and added 11 digs. Maggie Allen and Rebecca Godbout each ended with 6 kills in the win. Beatrice Lechler added a match best 23 assists while Chanielle Enomoto had 15 digs.
In the nightcap against Curry, Clark once again was the catalyst as she notched 10 kills. Allen added 8 more and MCLA cruised from there. Lechler tallied 29 assists while Enomoto had 18 digs and Clark chipped in with 12.
The Trailblazers are back in action on Tuesday night when they travel over to Williams College to battle the cross town foe at 7pm.
