Volleyball serves their way past Johnson State 3-0
North Adams, MA- The MCLA volleyball team collected 16 aces as they cruised past Johnson State 3-0 in a match played this afternoon in the Amsler Campus Center Gym. With the win, the Trailblazers are now 10-11 on the season while the Badgers drop to 2-15.
Tessa Sestito and Taylor Wiese each notched 13 assists for a balanced MCLA attack. Kayla Walker and Sam Anderson each had 5 kills. Samantha DeCarlo got the start and responded with 13 digs in the win.
MCLA breezed 25-8 in the first set and then wrapped up the match with 25-15 and 25-21 scores.
Johnson State was paced by Breanna Laughlin's match high 7 kills. Laurel Hubbert-Severance notched 10 assists.
MCLA collected 16 service aces in the win, which was a season high.
