Volleyball earns first win of 2017 with 3-0 win over Bay Path

Longmeadow, MA- The MCLA Volleyball team earned their first win of 2017 with a 3-0 win over Bay Path this morning on the road.  Brooke Queripel led the Trailblazers with 10 kills and 4 aces in the win.

The Trailblazers took the match 25-20, 25-23, and closed it out 25-22 over the Wildcats.

Queripel collected her 10 kills on 25 attacks.  She also added 7 digs in the win.  

Maggie Allen ended with 8 kills as did fellow senior Melissa Hopkins.  Tessa Sestito and Natasha Stewart each collected 9 assists, both season bests.  

Mele Enomoto led the defense with a team high 15 digs.

MCLA was taking on Castleton later today in game two.
