Anthony Basile, Men's Soccer

Basile just wrapped up his senior year with the Trailblazers where he played three seasons for MCLA. Basile had been a two-time 2nd team all-conference player before being named the MASCAC Player of the Year this year, the first time MCLA has held the honor since 1992. Basile lead the league with 10 goals and 22 points. 

Basile has been a staple in the Trailblazer lineup, appearing in 47 games and making 38 starts. Basile scored 29 goals, including two 10 goal seasons during his career. Basile also tallied a 63 points and 5 assists in his career. Basile also recorded a hat trick in a win over conference rival Salem State.

Basile was a major factor in the Trailblazers success in 2016 as he led the Trailblazers to the fourth seed in the MASCAC tournament. Basile's presence will surely be missed by the Trailblazers come next season.
