Michelle Littlefield ’03- Softball/Women’s Basketball

Littlefield was a standout for the Softball program from 2000-2003.  She ended her career as the second leading hitter in school history batting .403.  She drove in 105 runs over the course of her four seasons, good enough for fourth on the all-time list.  Littlefield would also finish tied for second in career home runs in a Trailblazer uniform.

Littlefield was a two time MVP during her junior and senior seasons at MCLA.  She was an All MASCAC second team selection in 2002 before a monster senior campaign.  Littlefield was named the MASCAC player of the year and first team selection after batting .465 with 10 doubles and 28 RBI’s.  Her average ranked 26th nationally and landed her on the All New England second team, an honor she also received as a sophomore.

In her senior season, she led MCLA to the conference championship game.  MCLA went a solid 9-5 in MASCAC play and forced a winner take all game with eventual champion Fitchburg State.

Littlefield played one season of basketball at MCLA and was named the team MVP for her efforts following the 2002-2003 season.

Littlefield was a Biology major at MCLA with a concentration in athletic training.  She is currently still involved in softball serving her third season as an assistant coach with Babson College.  Prior to that she coached at Dartmouth and Bridgewater State as an assistant, while serving as the head coach at Becker College.
