Dunn paces MCLA at Cobleskill Invitational
2014 Cobleskill Spring Invitational
Canojoharie, NY- The MCLA Golf team opened up their spring campaign by traveling to the Cobleskill Spring invitational this afternoon. The Trailblazers finished in third place among the five teams in competition.
MCLA was paced by Taylor Dunn who opened with an 81. The ten over par score was good enough for fourth place in the event. Don Cervantes of Cobleskill won the individual competition with a score of 73.
The Trailblazers Mitch Mullett finished in a tie for tenth place after shooting 85. Padraig Dougherty came in with a 94.
Cobleskill claimed the top two spots among the team competition. Their "A" team shot a solid 21 over par to easily outdistance the rest of the field. Cobleskill "B" was second followed by MCLA.
Rounding out the event were Morrisville State College and Keuka College.
MCLA will next compete in the MASCAC championship on Tuesday at Blackstone CC.
