Jalloh named MASCAC Rookie of the Week after scoring equalizer against Salem

Jalloh Goal vs. Salem State

North Adams, MA- MCLA first year forward Issa Jalloh (Lynn, MA) was selected as the MASCAC rookie of the week as announced by the league offices this afternoon.  The honor is the first for Jalloh in a Trailblazer uniform.

Jalloh tallied his first collegiate goal in the 78th minute on Saturday against Salem State.  He would score just 30 seconds after entering the game off the bench and would corral a rebound off the foot of Romeo Grey and boot it home.  The marker tied the game at 1-1 and eventually would end in a draw.

Jalloh has been a key reserve early on this season spelling the front line.

The Trailblazers currently are 1-0-1 in the conference following Saturday's result.

Alex Craver of Westfield State was named the MASCAC player of the week.

The Trailblazers are off all week until a Saturday matchup on the road at Westfield State.
