Men's Tennis blanked by Thomas
Pittsfield, MA- The visiting Thomas College Terriers swept away the MCLA Men's tennis team 9-0 this afternoon in a match played at Berkshire West in Pittsfield, MA. With the win, Thomas improves to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the NAC. MCLA drops to 1-3 and 0-2 in NAC play.
The Thomas program was on point as they swept all matches in straight sets. Tyler Small won 6-2, 6-0 in the top singles slot, while Eric Morin won by the identical margin in the second slot. Jonte Roussel won 6-0, 6-0 in the fourth slot to keep the dominance going.
In the doubles matches, Thomas swept the pro style sets by scores of 8-1, 8-2, and 8-2.
MCLA is back in action tomorrow when they battle Castleton State.
