Tennis drops season finale at Bard 9-0

Annandale on Hudson, NY- The MCLA Men's Tennis team dropped their season finale 9-0 this evening to Bard College.  The Trailblazers finish the 2015 season with a mark of 4-7.  Bard ends at 5-9.

The Raptors took all the matches in straight sets and began by sweeping the doubles points. Kevin McDonald and Ted Laport won 8-2 in the top slot, while the duo of Phillip Poznansky and Keillor Mose won 8-3 in the second match.  Bard's Billy Kwon and Nicholas George won 8-0 out of the third spot heading into singles.

McDonald, Laport, Mose, and Poznansky all earned their second points of the match with straight set victories.  Miguel Garchitorena won 6-2, 6-2 in the fifth slot, while C. Wejnert-Depue cruised 6-2, 6-1 to round out the scoring.

The match marked the final one in the career of Trailblazers Taylor Krowitz, Edgar Asamoah, and Tyler Russell.
