2018 All NAC Men's Tennis Team

North Adams, MA- The North Atlantic Conference has unveiled the men's tennis all conference teams.  MCLA was well represented as seniors Aaron Goldsmith and Jared Freeman were honored by the conference.  Goldsmith was named first team all conference as a singles competitor and he teamed with Freeman for second team honors in doubles.

Matthew Bluteau was also honored by the league as he was the Trailblazers representative on the sportsmanship team.

Goldsmith is no stranger to the All Conference team.  He is now a four time honoree of the conference.  Goldsmith was a first team selection in 2015 and 2017 prior to this season.  In 2016, he was named a second team honoree.  The senior accumulated a 5-5 overall record, but was 3-2 in conference play.  He collected wins against Lyndon State, Johnson State, and Castleton University.  He played in the top singles slot in every match in 2018.

Goldsmith and Freeman entered their first season together as doubles competitors.  The duo went 5-5 overall playing in the top doubles slot in every match.  They went 3-2 in NAC play recording wins against Lyndon State, Johnson State, and Castleton University.

The honor marks the first for Freeman in a Trailblazer uniform.

Goldsmith and Freeman have led MCLA back into the conference playoffs.  The Trailblazers will take on Thomas tomorrow in the NAC semifinals.  The match will take place at Castleton University.
