Men's Cross Country finishes second at Castleton meet
Castleton, VT- The MCLA Men's Cross Country had its second straight meet this weekend as the Trailblazers finished second overall at the Castleton University Invitational this morning. MCLA was coming off a win last weekend at SVC.
Jeremiah Jones and Avery Woodbury paced the team with 7th and 8th place finishes respectively, their second straight top 8 finishes.
Jones ran the 8k race in 28:45 while Woodbury came across the line just seven seconds later.
Christopher Gamble finished in 13th place with a time of 29:55 for MCLA. Owen Fitzgerald and Jose Rosario rounded out the scoring for the Trailblazers.
MCLA will run its third straight week next Saturday when they travel to Bard.
