Senior Day- Samantha Schwantner (Women's Lacrosse)

Each weekday, the athletics department will be releasing "Senior Day" profiles for all of our spring student-athletes.  For a full list of profiles, please click HERE

Today's profile is on MCLA Women's Lacrosse player Samantha Schwantner.

Schwantner is another two sport athlete as she competed in both women's tennis this past fall and was preparing for her fourth lacrosse season before it was cut short.  She started 30 games in her first three seasons and appeared in 36 overall.  Schwantner helped anchor the defense during her time in a lacrosse uniform and amassed a career best 21 groundballs last season.

She has played a key role in Student Government during her time at MCLA as she is the coordinating Vice President.   The History and Interdisciplinary Studies major is set to graduate this spring at MCLA.
