Volleyball cruises past Salem State 3-0 to earn second MASCAC win
Salem, MA- The MCLA Volleyball program went on the road and earned a decisive 3-0 decision over Salem State this afternoon in MASCAC action. With the win, the Trailblazers are 12-13 on the season, but more importantly improve to 2-2 in the conference. The Vikings are now 6-17 and 1-3 in the MASCAC.
Sam Anderson and Allison Clark paced the attack collecting 9 and 7 kills respectively. Taylor Wiese added a game best 19 assists for the Trailblazers. MCLA served the ball well collecting 9 aces on the afternoon.
MCLA took the first set 25-18 before closing out the Vikings 25-17 and 25-12.
The Trailblazers are back in action on Wednesday when they host Worcester State at 7pm in a key MASCAC matchup.
