Stewart sets career high as Volleyball wins fourth straight game

North Adams, MA- MCLA's Natasha Stewart set a career high with 24 assists as she led the Trailblazer Volleyball team to their fourth straight win this evening as they handled Bay Path 3-0.  The Trailblazers improve to 4-3 on the season while Bay Path dips to 1-6.

Bay Path hung with MCLA for awhile in the first set, but ultimately the hosts pulled away as Kelly Moczulski had a great first set as MCLA took it 25-15.  The Trailblazers would roll in the second set 25-7 before ending the match with a 25-17 win in the third.

MCLA had a well balanced offensive attack and Stewart was the catalyst.  Her passing allowed MCLA to hit at a .299 clip for the match.  Moczulski, Ahna Schlaefer, and Kelsey LaFreniere each had 5 kills in the win.  Reagan Scattergood added 4 for the hosts.

Houa Xiong collected a team best 13 digs.

Delaney Ivas ended with a match best 6 kills for the Wildcats in the loss.  She added 10 digs on the night.

MCLA will be in search of their fifth straight win on Saturday when they head to Becker College.
