Cross Country finishes up 2019 season at NCAA New England Regionals

Bowdoin, ME- The MCLA Cross Country programs finished up their respective fall seasons this afternoon after competing in the NCAA New England Regionals hosted by Bowdoin College.  The MCLA women placed 50th in the event while the men's program competed as individuals.

The Williams College men and women took home regional championships in the 6k and 8k races respectively.

Julie Gambill paced all runners for MCLA finishing her season with a 217th place finish out of 380+ runners.  Gambill covered the course in 25:23 to lead the Trailblazers.  Hannah Poplawski ran the course in 27:52 while Jenna Berg crossed the finish line with a time of 33:35.

Domenica Gomez, Natalia Gerena, Haley Rode, and Hunter Schrade also competed for the Trailblazers.

In the men's race, Isaac Sibley was the top performer in the 8k race.  He covered the course in 31:42.  Theodore Jones also ran for MCLA.
