2023 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-America Teams release
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Named to the Third Team by D3baseball.com yesterday and to the NCAA Division III Third Team by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) today, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) senior outfielder Austin Rachiele (Pittsfield, MA) is a 2023 All-American.
The 2023 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference member led the league with a .453 batting average, 63 hits which tied the program record, 14 homeruns, 4 triples, 127 total bases which set a new program record, a .550 slugging percentage which was also 13th in the nation, and a .914 slugging percentage which was 7th best in the nation. Rachiele also set a new program record scoring 53 runs, had 40 RBI, and drew 28 walks while stealing 17 bases.
Earlier this week Rachiele was named to the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA DIII All-Region 2 First Team and to the D3baseball.com Region 2 First Team.
