Golf participates in Castleton Invitational
Rutland, VT- This weekend the MCLA Men's Golf team participated in the Castleton Invitational held at Rutland Country Club hosted by Castleton University.
The Trailblazers finished 8th in the team competition which was won by the University of Southern Maine with a score of 625. The Huskies finished 12 strokes better than 2nd place finisher Castleton.
Castleton's Nick Ojala (Proctor, VT) edged out three second place golfers by just one stroke taking home the individual title with a 10-over, 150.
Junior Paul Roeder (Pittsfield, MA) led the way for the Trailblazers finishing in 33rd place.
MCLA's next tournament will be Wednesday at the Tekoa Country Club in Westfield for the Brett Williamson Invitational.
