Gover Wins Individual Title at Norwich Invitational

RANDOLPH, Vermont- Matt Gover shot a career-best one over par 70 to claim the Norwich Invitational Individual title by one stroke this afternoon at the Montague Country Club. New England College took home the team title with a combined score of 298. MCLA finished 2nd edging out host Norwich University with a score of 306.

Gover had birdies on the 11th, 14th and 18th holes enroute to his first win as a Trailblazer.

MCLA also had strong showings by Paul Roeder (76) and Cody White (78). Alex Ferris (82) and Addam Brunner (87) all made key contributions to the second-place finish.

Gover and the Trailblazers will next compete at the New England College Invitational at the Country Club of New Hampshire next Sunday in North Sutton.
