Gover Claims Third Straight Player and Fourth Straight Rookie of the Week Honors

NORTH ADAMS, Mass.—Fresh off his 2023 MASCAC Championship Individual title, for the third consecutive week, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) freshman Matt Gover has been named Player and Rookie of the Week. It is also the fourth week in a row that Gover has been the league's Rookie of the Week.

Over the weekend Gover won the individual MASCAC Championship with a two-round total of 147 (+3) for his sixth title of the season. He also helped to a second-place finish in the team competition. In the first round of play, Gover finished with three birdies while collecting two during the second round to help clinch the MASCAC title.
