Men's Lacrosse can't get any offense going in loss to SUNY Delhi

North Adams, MA-- The visiting SUNY Delhi Broncos remained unbeaten in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play with a convincing 13-4 win over the MCLA Trailblazers this evening at Shewcraft Field.  The Broncos are now 6-4 overall but more importantly sit at 5-0 in the league.  MCLA is now 0-7 overall and 0-3 in the NAC.

Delhi jumped out to a 4-0 lead after one quarter of play as four different Broncos tallied goals.  They would increase the margin to 6-0 after Benjamin Moscatiello and Kyle Brogan tallied early in the second.  MCLA finally got on the board when leading scorer Nathan Haley scored a power play goal to cut the deficit to 6-1.  Delhi would tack on two more goals to take a commanding 8-1 lead at the half.

The teams would swap goals in the third quarter and MCLA would get no closer than seven the rest of the contest.

Moscatiello and Jack McClurg each netted hat tricks to pace the Broncos.  Samuel Steng played the first half in net to collect the win.  He stopped a pair of shots to improve to 4-3 on the season.

MCLA was paced by Haley's three goal effort.  Boden Dock notched 18 saves in goal for the Trailblazers.

Delhi controlled play as they held a sizable 59-15 shot advantage and a 57-28 mark in ground balls.
