Women's Basketball can't keep pace with Rams

North Adams, MA— Framingham's Flannery O'Connor scored 20 points and pulled down 7 rebounds to lead the Ram women's basketball team past the MCLA Trailblazers 82-30 in MASCAC action this evening from the Amsler Campus Center Gym.  Framingham improves to 18-3 overall and remains unbeaten in MASCAC play at 10-0.  MCLA is now 1-20 on the season and sits at 1-9 in league play.

The Rams made quick work of the Trailblazers as they started the game on a 13-0 run as Flannery O'Connor and Katty Haidul each scored four points in the spurt.  The opening run led to a 30-5 lead after one quarter of play.  The Rams would eventually hold a 43-15 lead at halftime.

They were never threatened in the second half and cruised to the victory.

MCLA was led by Olivia Pressley and Shannon Carney.  They each ended with 13 points.

The Trailblazers shot just 20% in the contest.

MCLA is back in action on Wednesday evening when they host Worcester State at 5:30pm.
