LYNDON, VT. – Despite a game-high 20 points from Zaylee Ramos, the MCLA Women's Basketball team dropped a 67-45 season opener at Vermont State University-Lyndon this evening.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Zaylee Ramos scored a game-high 20 points while adding four rebounds and two steals.
  • Kristie Zator played all 40 minutes, scoring 13 points on 4-9 shooting from the field, including a pair of three-pointers. Zator also pulled down a team-high seven rebounds, six on the defensive end.
  • The Hornets Sage Smith and Kadienne Whitcomb each scored 15 points for the hosts, while Saleena Porter corralled a game-high 14 rebounds and just missed a double-double with nine points.
