DUDLEY, Mass. – The MCLA Women's Basketball team finished its season-opening stretch of road games with a 76-35 loss to the Nichols College Bison. The Bison's Summer Klein led all scorers with 18 points off the bench.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Sophomore Kristie Zator paced the Trailblazers with 10 points. She also finished with eight rebounds and two assists.
  • Fellow sophomore Hailey Peabody pulled down a game-high 17 rebounds, including 16 on the defensive end.
  • Continuing the run of sophomores, Zaylee Ramos mustered 13 rebounds, including 9 on the defensive end, as MCLA recorded a 60-38 edge on the boards.
  • A trio of Bison scored in double-digits, led by 18 points off the bench by Summer Klein. The other members of the double-digit Bison club were Abrianna Vazquez with 16 points and Adriana Romano with 11 points.
