Women’s Basketball Drop Non-Conference Game at Johnson & Wales
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The MCLA Women's basketball team extended their losing streak to five games, falling to Johnson & Wales University in a non-conference road matchup, 55-36. With the win the Wildcats improve to 3-4 on the season while the Trailblazers fall to 2-3

HIGHLIGHTS
- The Wildcats were consistent, as they out-scored the Trailblazers by exactly eight points in each of the first three periods, taking a 16-point lead into the halftime locker room and expanding it to 24 points through three quarters.
- Kristie Zator paced MCLA for the sixth time in the last seven games, scoring 12 points and dishing out a team-high three assists.
- The combination of Zaylee Ramos and Hailey Peabody each fell just short of recording a double-double. Both players finished with nine points but Ramos gathered a game-high nine rebounds to Peabody's eight.
- First-year center Caroline Schmaling added another six rebounds as both teams finished the game with 43 rebounds each.
- The duo of Sarah Wisniewski and Alexa Lora led the JWU with 16 and 11 points respectively.
