Soccer shutout by non league foe Nichols

North Adams, MA- Nichols College women's soccer player Grace Killman recorded a hat trick in leading the Bison past the MCLA Trailblazers 4-0 this evening in non-league action.  The Bison improve to 4-4-1 on the season.  MCLA drops to 0-8.

Killman didn't wait long to get her night started.  In the 7th minute of play she would receive a cross from Maegan Roy and drill it home for an early 1-0 lead.  Just five minutes later, the duo would strike again.  This time, Killman rebounded a Roy shot and found the back once again to increase the margin to 2-0.  The score would remain that way into halftime.

In the second half, Killman would complete the hat trick in the 69th minute.  Once again, Killman was the beneficiary of a Roy cross.  Killman easily pushed it past MCLA keeper Jillian Currier to make it 3-0.

Roy rounded out the scoring as she finished with a goal and three assists.

Nichols outshot MCLA 29-0 on the evening as their defense locked down the Trailblazers.

Adie Hughes earned the win in goal for Nichols.

Jillian Currier and Mady Breese combined to collect 12 saves for MCLA.

The Trailblazers are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Mass. Maritime.
