QUINCY, Mass.— MCLA senior Anna Lewis scored her team leading fourth goal of the season, but a late Eastern Nazarene score forced a 1-1 nonconference draw tonight between the Trailblazers and Lions at Veteran's Stadium. With the result MCLA moves to 1-2-2 while Eastern Nazarene now sitsat 1-2-1.

The Lewis marker came in the 15th minute giving MCLA a 1-0 lead which they took into halftime. Eastern Nazarene came out of the break with purpose earning four corners and outshooting MCLA 15-3 in the second, forcing MCLA keeper Eva Eberwein (T, 1–2–2) to make all five of her saves on the evening after not being challenged in the first. Eastern Nazarene goalie Sabrina Nassar (T, 1–2-1) also stopped five Trailblazer shots in the match.

MCLA managed to keep the hosts at bay for nearly a half-hour into the second but finally, in the 74th minute the pressure paid off for the Lions as Kayla Dawn tied the match with her third goal of the season. Each team mustered one more shot on goal before the final horn sounded but ultimately settled for a hard earned 1-1 draw.

Both teams will visit conference foes this Saturday with Eastern Nazarene taking on VTSU Johnson at 1 PM and MCLA battling Mass Maritime at 5 PM.
