Tennis earns decisive 9-0 win over Lyndon State for first win of 2017
Lyndon, VT- The MCLA Women's Tennis team eased past the Lyndon State Hornets 9-0 this afternoon in NAC tennis action. The win was the first of the season for MCLA and improved them to 1-2 on the season and are now 1-1 in conference play.
The Trailblazers were never threatened against the Hornets as they earned three points via forfeit.
MCLA's Sam Gawron and Mariza Sfakianaki won 8-0 in the top doubles slot while Briana Higgins and Ashley Juskhas won by the same margin.
The Trailblazers swept the four singles matches to earn the win.
