Volleyball earns second straight win in non league action at Curry 3-0

Milton, MA- The MCLA Volleyball team went on the road and returned with their second straight victory as the Trailblazers defeated Curry College 3-0 this afternoon in non league action.  The Trailblazers are now 4-2 on the season.

Natasha Stewart led the offense with 22 assists and she added 11 digs to fill the stat sheet.

MCLA had to work hard in this one as they took the opening set 26-24.  They would move out to a 2-0 lead on the heels of a 25-21 second set win.  They would close out the Colonels with a 25-23 win in the third.

Reagan Scattergood and Kelly Moczulski had a team best 9 kills.  Chloie Garber notched 7 kills and 12 digs for the Trailblazers.  Ellie Walter-Goodspeed ended with a team best 19 digs on defense.

MCLA racked up 11 aces on the afternoon led by three each from Moczulski, Kelsey Lafreniere, and Walter-Goodspeed.

The Trailblazers are back in action on Tuesday night when they host New England College at 6pm.
