Volleyball earns 3-0 conference win over Falcons
Fitchburg, MA- The MCLA Volleyball team earned a convincing 3-0 MASCAC win over Fitchburg State on the road this evening. The Trailblazers improve to 6-4 overall and sit at 2-1 in conference play. The Falcons fall to 1-11 overall and are 0-3 in the league.
MCLA cruised in this one taking the sets by scores of 25-14, 25-19, and 25-22.
Offensively they were led by a trio of attackers. Chloie Garber notched a match best 12 kills while Reagan Scattergood and Kelly Moczulski chipped in with 11 and 9 respectively. Garber and Moczulski were incredibly efficient totaling a combined 21 kills on just 34 attacks on the night.
Natasha Stewart dished out 29 assists to continue her solid season of play.
Scattergood, Stewart, and Ellie Walter-Goodspeed each ended with 10 digs to pace the defense.
The Trailblazers will head to Saratoga this weekend to compete in the Skidmore Invitational. They will challenge Skidmore, Sage, and New Jersey City over the weekend.
