Volleyball earns Senior Day 3-0 win over Salem State

North Adams, MA- The MCLA Volleyball team sprinted past the visiting Salem State Vikings 3-0 this afternoon to earn another Massachusetts State Collegiate Conference victory.  The win pushes the Trailblazers over .500 at 9-8 overall, but they're also 3-2 in the MASCAC.  The Vikings drop to 4-16 overall and are 1-4 in the league.

MCLA took the sweep by set scores of 25-7, 25-12, and 25-16.

Senior Reagan Scatttergood collected a match best 18 kills on 38 attacks.  She added 13 digs in the win.  Chloie Garber chipped in with 13 kills.  Natasha Stewart dished out 33 assists and added 9 digs.  

On defense, Ellie Walter-Goodspeed added 11 digs while Kelly Moczulski ended with 7 kills and 14 digs.

For the match, MCLA posted a season best .337 hitting percentage.

For the Vikings, they were paced by Genevieve Kempster's 5 kills.

Prior to the start of the contest, MCLA honored their four seniors.  Scattergood, Stewart, Kelsey LaFreniere, and Giselle Arredondo all played their final home contest today.
