Zator leads Women’s Cross-Country at WNE Golden Bear Invitational

Springfield, MA- The MCLA Women's Cross-Country team participated this morning at the WNE Golden Bear Invitational hosted by Western New England University.
Smith College would take home the team title with a total 6k time of 2:02:54 scoring 18 points. Framingham State placed second with a total time of 2:08:50 and 60points while Salve Regina finished in third place with a total time of 2:10:18 and 77 points. MCLA would finish in 7th place.
Smith runners would take the top four spots with sophomore Isabel Vivanco outpacing her teammates by nearly a minute with a time of 23:35.5. MCLA first year Kristie Zator would be the Trailblazers top finisher with a time of 28:09.2.
MCLA will wrap up its season in two weeks on Saturday, October 29th at the MASCAC Championships hosted by Westfield State University at Stanley Park.
