North Adams, MA- MCLA sophomore forward Dylan Pereira has been named the MASCAC Men's Soccer player of the week as announced by the league offices this afternoon. The honor for Pereira marks the first of the season for the Trailblazers.
Pereira is no stranger to success as he is the reigning MASCAC rookie of the year. His week was highlighted by collecting the game winning goal in MCLA's 3-2 victory over Castleton State in the CIAO classic hosted by the Trailblazers. The marker was his second of the season.
The Ludlow, Massachusetts native has proved to be a formidable presence on the front line. Last season he led MCLA in scoring and appears to be on his way to more success this season.
Pereira and the Trailblazers are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Sage.
